Wow, My Passion were amazing (As always!) they played a longer set in Camden as serpico didn't play, and i loved the new songs, i have a video of one of them, (look below!)

i completely fangirled out before even seeing the guys; because who should walk by while we were waiting for them to come on? but david ryder prangley! lead singer of rachel stamp and one of mine, and also MPs favourite bands. what was funny though was i was wearing a rachel stamp tshirt. i didn't pounce on him cos he was obviously there to see MP and he was with people. I bounced and squeed a lot though;)

the next night when i spoke to laurence after the show he noticed my rachel stamp tshirt and said how much he loved them and i mentioned seeing him at the camden show and he told me david was like his second dad, which i thought was really sweet:)

anyway, onto MP!

Their costumes were fab, and Simon actually got his arms out...that boy is buff! They're all growing up before my eyes (i'm not sure if that makes me feel old or not lol!)

we made a banner for the birmingham show while waiting in the queue all da,y jonathon chose that moment to wonder out and saw what we were doing so we gave it to jonathon after the show, and i got my photo took with him. they're all such great guys:)

anyway, onto the videos and photos!

the first video is of Mat from Kill Hannah, but he mentions almost feeling Simon's dick so I just had to post it here! enjoy!

new song alert!Collapse )

ok, here are my not brilliant photos--i swear the academy filled the place up with so much smoke you could barely see one foot in front of you!

looks like laurence is smacking simon's butt here lol!
more MP goodnessCollapse )

vote for our boys in kerrang!!!

Wow! What a show, it was amazing. I love small venues:) It was great to hear more stuff off the album and to have the boys on stage for so long!

There were no barriers against the stage so we were all right up against it. As per usual the show was amazing. It was great to Jonathan up close too! Usually he's just that little bit too far back, and behind his drums it was impossible to get his photo:)

I actually got my photo took with him this time, other times I've seen them he's been busy or watching other gigs with his girlfriend, and i didn't wanna butt in:)

I took my copy of Thomas Sanchez's Day of the Bees and got the whole band to sign it. (OMG, it's an amazing book, you should all read it, It's heartbreaking, i almost cried!)

Laurence admitted that he's not read the book, but he's read about it, Simon hasn't read it either, but Jonathan and John Be have! They explained that they happened to google Day of the Bees after writing the song and Thomas Sanchez's novel came up. Considering they wrote it before reading/knowing about the book it's scary how the song relates to the book.

John Be also said that the cover of Sanchez's novel inspired them for the artwork for Corporate Flesh Party, I can definitely see the similarities!

anyway, enough of my ramblings, onto the gig pics!

(beware of huge, not dial up friendly pics!)

I'm pretty sure everyone here already knows our guys have been signed with Mascot Records! Whooo hoo! It's about time their hard work has paid off:)

There's also a poster of them in this weeks Kerrang.

The album has been put back a little, but that's understandable considering! It's great that more people are starting to realise what we knew all along...these guys are amazing musicians, great people and work hard, and they deserve a little lot of success!:)
